State Level Recruitment Commission Announces Exam Pattern for Class-III and Class-IV Posts- ADRE 2024
The State Level Recruitment Commission (SLRC) has released detailed guidelines and patterns for the upcoming written examinations for Class-III and Class-IV posts in Assam. The examinations are scheduled as per Advertisement No. SLRC-G-III/91/Advertisement/2023/11 and Advertisement No. SLRC-G-IV/ASSAM/2023-24/01/14.
### Class-III Posts
**For Bachelor's Degree Level Posts:**
- **Subjects and Question Pattern:**
1. Social Studies - 30 questions
2. General Knowledge - 35 questions
3. Logical Reasoning and Mental Ability - 20 questions
4. General Mathematics - 30 questions
5. General English - 10 questions
6. Reading Comprehension and English Language - 25 questions
- **Duration:** 3 hours
- **Total Questions:** 150
- **Total Marks:** 175
**For HSSLC Level Posts:**
- **Subjects and Question Pattern:**
1. Social Studies - 30 questions
2. General Knowledge - 30 questions
3. Logical Reasoning and Mental Ability - 20 questions
4. General English - 35 questions
5. General Mathematics - 35 questions
- **Duration:** 3 hours
- **Total Questions:** 150
- **Total Marks:** 150
**For HSLC Level Posts (Driver):**
- **Subjects and Question Pattern:**
1. Social Studies - 20 questions
2. General Knowledge - 30 questions
3. Logical Reasoning and Mental Ability - 30 questions
4. General English - 30 questions
5. General Mathematics - 30 questions
6. Road Transport - 10 questions
- **Duration:** 3 hours
- **Total Questions:** 150
- **Total Marks:** 150
### Class-IV Posts
The recruitment for Class-IV posts includes two categories:
1. **Posts for Read up to Class VIII Category**
2. **Posts for HSLC (Class X) Passed or Equivalent Category**
**Common Subjects for Both Categories:**
- English
- Social Studies
- Mathematics
- General Knowledge
- Mental Ability and Logical Reasoning
- **Exam Duration:** 2 hours 30 minutes
- **Total Questions:** 135
- **Marks per Question:** 1
### General Instructions
1. The question papers will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
2. Negative marking for wrong answers will be implemented. Each wrong answer will deduct 0.25 marks.
3. The medium of the question paper will be Assamese, Bengali, English, Bodo, and Hindi.
4. Candidates must choose only one correct answer for each question.
5. The exact date and time of the examinations will be notified later.

### সাধাৰণ নিৰ্দেশনা

2. ভুল উত্তৰৰ বাবে ঋণাত্মক নম্বৰকৰণ হ'ব। প্ৰতিটো ভুল উত্তৰত ০.২৫ নম্বৰ কাটা হ'ব।
3. প্ৰশ্নপত্ৰৰ মাধ্যম হ'ব অসমীয়া, বঙালী, ইংৰাজী, বোৰো আৰু হিন্দী।

5. পৰীক্ষাৰ নিদিষ্ট তাৰিখ আৰু সময় পাছত জনোৱা হ'ব।
