Tomorrow all hindu women in India are going to celebrate the most auspicious festival---- THE KARWA CHAUTH

    Karwa Chauth is a very significant festival that married Hindu ladies all over the nation observe. Married women keep a strict fast during this holiday from sunrise until moonrise. In no other culture in the world ,where this type of fasting is practiced. Women don't break their fast on this day until they have seen the moon through a sieve. Additionally, prayers are made to the Goddess Gauri, who is an embodiment of Parvati and bestows blessings on long and blissful marriages. This is done to ensure that their husbands have long and healthy lives.

As per Drik Panchang, Karwa Chauth is observed on Chaturthi Tithi which is the fourth day of Krishna Paksha in the month of Kartik. Karva is means 'pot' and chauth means 'fourth' in hindi which means  fourth day of the dark-fortnight, or Krishna paksh, of the month of Kartik. As per  Sanskrit scriptures, the festival is called as Kark Chaturthi, Kark means an earthen water pitcher and Chaturthi denotes fourth day of lunar Hindu month.

কৰৱা চৌথ

    কাইলৈ ভাৰতত সকলো হিন্দু মহিলাই সকলোতকৈ পবিত্ৰ উৎসৱ কৰৱা চৌথ উদয়াপন কৰিব। বিবাহিত মহিলাসকলে এই উৎসৱত সূৰ্য উদয়ৰ পৰা চন্দ্ৰ উদয়লৈকে কঠোৰ উপবাস ৰাখে। পৃথিৱীৰ অন্য কোনো সংস্কৃতিত এই ধৰণৰ উপবাস পালন কৰা নহয়।মহিলাসকলে এই দিনটোত উপবাস ভঙ্গ নকৰে যেতিয়ালৈকে তেওঁলোকে এটা চালনীৰ মাজেৰে চন্দ্ৰ দেখিব নোৱাৰে। তদুপৰি, পাৰ্বতীৰ প্ৰতিমূৰ্তি দেৱী গৌৰীৰ ওচৰত প্ৰাৰ্থনা কৰা হয় আৰু দীঘলীয়া আৰু আনন্দময় বিবাহত আশীৰ্বাদ প্ৰদান কৰে।তেওঁলোকৰ স্বামীসকলে যাতে দীৰ্ঘায়ু আৰু সুস্থ জীৱন লাভ কৰে তাৰ বাবে এই ব্যৱস্থা কৰা হয়।

দৃক পঞ্চাঙ্গ অনুসৰি কাৰ্তিক মাহৰ কৃষ্ণ পক্ষৰ চতুৰ্থী তিথিত কৰৱা চৌথ পালন কৰা হয়।

কৰৱ মানে 'পোট' আৰু চৌথ মানে হিন্দীত 'চতুৰ্থ' অৰ্থাৎ কাৰ্তিক মাহৰ কৃষ্ণ পক্ষৰ চতুৰ্থ দিন।

সংস্কৃত শাস্ত্ৰ অনুসৰি এই উৎসৱক 'কৰ্ক চতুৰ্থী', 'কৰ্ক' মানে মাটিৰ পানীৰ কলহ আৰু চতুৰ্থী মানে চন্দ্ৰ হিন্দু মাহৰ চতুৰ্থী।

এই 2022 বৰ্ষত অক্টোবৰ মাহৰ 13th বৃহস্পতিবাৰে কৰৱা চৌথ পালন কৰা হ'ব।
